The classes for this course are on Thursday nights at 7:00 PM. The requirements are a PC with Zoom loaded. You will receive the Zoom code from us one hour prior to start time. You will need to put the code in when you start Zoom. If you have Studio One 6 already running, great. But, not necessary. You could take notes instead. Have paper and pencil handy.
We will cover the following:
1. Initial startup and selection of your Audio Interface inside Studio One 6.
2. Audio interface port setup.
3. Creating a new song and the tracks used for it.
4. How to set the BPM.
5. How to record a track(s) with instrumentals.
6. How to record a track for vocals.
7. How to apply compression, EQ, reverb, etc.
8. How to set each track's separation and levels.
9. How to use a limiter on the master channel's output to prevent overdriving.
10. How to export your tracks into an .mp3 or .wav file to use outside of Studio One 6.
