This is a common problem but it is an easy fix.
The problem with a song that will not upload is almost always related to the information you are trying to upload, so let's check the following:
1. Make sure you have a good, working internet connection.
2. You are trying to upload non-alphanumerical characters.
The first issue is easy to check. If you are in the upload panel on Songwriters Portal, you pretty much have a good connection.
The second issue is you have non-alphanumerical characters in either the title of your song of the song name you are trying to upload. Our system does not accept these types of characters.
Example: A good title is "A Hard Way to Go". A bad title is "A Hard Way To Go - #11/02/2025". This title contains non-alphanumeric characters. Alphanumeric characters are A through Z and 0 to 9.
Check your songs title and the songs name that you are trying to upload and make sure they do not contain non-alphanumeric characters.
