i am a singer songwriter but produce songs using various other singers.does each song have to have artist name or just the name of my production company?
You can enter the Artist Name. There is a field for that.
if a supervisor accepts a song ,is payment handled through you and do you take a percentage?
We negotiate all contracts that include you. If a contract is signed between you and the buyer, the buyer pays Songwriters Portal. We deduct a 18% commission and send you the remainder.
can i use my production company name or do i have to use my personal name

The artist name field is for who ever sings/plays the song. The songwriter name goes in the songwriter field. You can do what you ask. But it would seem odd.
do i get any report as to any song activity?
Yes, status of every song is reported at the very bottom of the Career Dashboard
