Song submissions for Sync Licensing Opportunities. I will explain how our process works.
First, create your account. Do this by choosing your plan on the pricing page. Register and Login.
After logging in, you will end up on the Career Dashboard. This is your private, secured, portal.
Important: READ THE USER MANUAL FIRST. It is located at the bottom of the Left Navigation Bar.
The manual will tell you how to upload your songs. There is a step by step process in the manual.
I won't go into detail in this article, but I will give you a general overview of "How this Works".
1. Upload your song. Do not send us purely AI generated songs we won't accept them. However, if you write the lyrics or mix and master an AI song, that is called AI Assisted. Those are ok. Just be sure to specify the human part of the song at registration.
2. An ISWC or ISRC number is not required. However, music supervisors looking for material will not take your song without one or the other, so you are just wasting your time and ours. There is a delay from the time you submit a new song until they return your approval with those numbers. It is best to wait until you get approval from the PRO before entering the song on our portal.
3. Metadata: When you are ready to upload a song to us, clicking the "upload" button, the button at the top of the panel that opens is for Metadata entry. You will enter all pertinent information about the song. There is also a section called Metadata. Be certain you complete all fields. This is what music supervisors search the catalogs with to find the song they are after.
4. After you upload your song/metadata to us, we basically replicate that song in our music supervisors catalogs. There is stays and is searched for, found, and listened to. If you song is selected for an opportunity, the buyer will contact our company.
5. We will negotiate the best deal for you, handle legal, and all other requirements. You, of course, are included in the negotiations. It is your song afterall.
6. After all is settled and the check from the buyer is paid, Songwriters Portal Intl. LLC will deduct a commission fee of 18% from the amount payable to the songwriter/owner.
